About the town

Loupian seems to be the oldest place on Thau Lagoon, welknown with its Gallo-Roman Villa where was found a very old ceramic floor.

Loupian was built on Via Domitia an ancient roman road and later set on the pilgrims road of St Jacques de Compostelle.

Now Loupian lives with the oysters culture and with its vineyards.
